Finished kitchen with white shaker cabinets, white-veined counters, subway tile and warm wood-look floor
Project 01 · Houston · kitchen

Jenny Buffamante

Interior designer for new-home selections in Houston. I designed every Sellers First Home Solutions renovation: finish packages picked against a budget, a schedule and the buyer who walks through.

Tap a chip to see where it lives in the room.

Three houses, bought to finished.

Each board is one Sellers First renovation I designed: the finished rooms, the selections behind them, and what the house looked like when we bought it.

Front of the finished house: greige board-and-batten between original brick piers, white windows with bronze trim, modern black five-lite door
Before: the same front, with a faded oval-glass door, red trim and stained siding

Before photo straightened to the after's angle and its house number blurred for privacy; nothing else changed.

Project 01

Houston, TX · single-story brick ranch · 2026 · about 4 months

Dark wood paneling and patterned vinyl came out. One warm floor now runs through every room, the kitchen went white shaker with white-veined counters, the bath got large-format marble-look porcelain, and the front of the house now points to a modern black door.

Project 02

Sugar Land, TX · single-story brick · 2025 · about 11 weeks

A crisp, high-contrast package: white shaker and white quartz against one cool gray floor, with matte black carried through every pull, faucet, lever and mirror so the whole house reads as one decision.

Project 03

NW Houston · two-story condo · 2025

The cherry cabinets were painted white instead of replaced. Dark wood-look floors went down below, new carpet up, warm greige walls throughout, and matte-black faucets with black-framed mirrors tie the baths to the kitchen.

How I run selections.

The same discipline a builder's design center needs: one coherent package, priced and scheduled, that the buyer actually wants.

Selections sheet

How each house gets decided
ItemHow I handle itWhat the builder gets
Finish packagePaint, flooring, tile, counters, cabinet hardware, plumbing, lighting, doors, trim and mirrors chosen as one package, not item by item. One cohesive look per house that can repeat across a plan.
BudgetEvery option compared on cost, availability, lead time, quality and style fit before anything is ordered.Selections that hold the line on cost and schedule.
The buyerEach house judged through a buyer's eyes: upgrades that raise perceived value, never over-improving for the neighborhood.Spend goes where buyers pay for it.
In the fieldDesign intent explained to the trades, field questions answered, selections kept in step with the construction timeline.Fewer delays, less rework.
DocumentationEstimates, receipts, quantities and selections tracked from first appointment to final approval.A clean hand-off to purchasing.

Jenny Buffamante

Hi, I’m Jenny.

I studied interior design at Texas State and finished my certificate at the American Institute of Interior Design. I’ve spent fifteen years helping people choose: fabrics, finishes, layouts, colors, and the budget that goes with them.

At Sellers First I pick every finish in the houses we renovate, and I order, track and walk them with the trades until the house is done. I want to bring that to a builder's buyers.

“It’s important to me that my designs are as unique as my clients are.”
